You can do that sort of thing with the 1961-63 &#8220;unicab&#8221; trucks, which melded the bed and cab into a single body. It was a good idea on paper that didn&#8217;t translate well in reality, because it eliminated flexibility when loaded down with a heavy cargo load. The structure between the cab and bed was notoriously prone to rusting, too. Nevertheless, this enthusiast&#8217;s creative and obviously labor-intensive vision was executed well. Looks like a dual-quad SOHC engine between the frame rails, too.
